It is usually prohibited within National Parks themselves.

• National & State Park Campgrounds: Often beautifully located but with basic facilities (usually no electricity/water hook-ups). These must be reserved months in advance online, especially in popular parks like Yosemite or Zion.

• Private Campgrounds (e.g., KOA, Good Sam): These often offer full comfort with "Full Hook-ups" (electricity, water, sewage), pools, and Wi-Fi. They are more expensive but easier to book spontaneously.
