Route Overview
About this Tour
Slovenia may be tiny, but when it comes to natural beauty per square meter, this country plays in its own league. The Julian Alps in the northwest offer everything a camper heart desires: world-famous Lake Bled with its fairytale island, the emerald Soča Valley like something from a fantasy film, and Triglav National Park.
Your Journey in Detail
🏔️Ljubljana & the Road to Bled
Ljubljana is one of Europe's most charming capitals – small enough to explore on foot but full of surprises. Architect Jože Plečnik gave the city its unmistakable face. Lake Bled is Slovenia's postcard hero – the tiny island with its baroque church, approached by rowboats, against the backdrop of the Julian Alps.
💎The Soča Valley – Emerald Paradise
The Soča isn't a river like any other – it has a color you must see to believe: an intense emerald green that glows like liquid gemstone depending on light and riverbed. The valley was WWI's front between Italy and Austria. Today it's an outdoor paradise: kayaking, rafting, canyoning, ziplining.
🚣Triglav National Park & Tradition
Mount Triglav (2,864 m) is Slovenia's national symbol – it even appears on the flag. Every Slovenian should climb the peak at least once in their life, they say. Lake Bohinj, the 'quieter brother' of Bled, offers swimming, paddling, and peace.
