Your Journey in Detail

🌊Vancouver & the Coastal Road

Vancouver says goodbye stylishly: the drive over the Lions Gate Bridge with views of Stanley Park and the skyline is a cinematic start. In West Vancouver, head along the coast to Horseshoe Bay, a picturesque ferry terminal with fish restaurants and ocean views. From here begins the legendary Sea to Sky Highway – a road that repeatedly appears on lists of the world's most beautiful drives. Howe Sound to the left is a fjord like from Norway: steep mountains dropping directly into turquoise-blue water, islands on the horizon, and occasionally eagles circling overhead. Shannon Falls, British Columbia's third-highest waterfall (335 meters!), is a must-stop just meters from the highway.

⛷️Squamish – Outdoor Capital

Squamish has transformed from a small logging town to the 'Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada'. The Stawamus Chief, a 700-meter granite monolith, is a climbing destination for people from around the world – but hikers also have trails to the summit with breathtaking views over Howe Sound. In winter, the Brackendale Eagles Park is a destination for thousands of bald eagles – the largest concentration of these majestic birds outside Alaska. In summer, the Sea to Sky Gondola offers a spectacular ride to alpine hiking trails and a breathtaking viewpoint with a suspension bridge.

🐻Whistler – World-Class Resort

Whistler is world-famous for winter sports – the 2010 Winter Olympics were held here – but in summer the resort transforms into a paradise for mountain bikers, hikers, and adventurers. The Whistler Bike Park is one of the world's best: lifts bring bikers up the mountain, then it's down on perfectly groomed trails. Even beginners have gentle slopes, and rentals are available everywhere. The Peak 2 Peak Gondola connects Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain with one of the world's longest aerial tramways – the views are breathtaking.
